What is Splash Speaker?
Splash Speaker is a splash page creation wizard that hosts your splash page for you. It also creates personalization tags that allow your prospects to see their own name and information.
Further, Splash Speaker can use text to speech technology to actually say the name and information on your splash page, including the actual name and advertising service of your prospect.

How much does Splash Speaker cost?
Splash Speaker is free to join. This will allow you to have a Silver membership account which will allow you to create 1 Splash Speaker page. As a Silver member you can only use limited personalization and can not use the text to speech capabilities of Splash Speaker.
Gold membership allows more features including personalization and text to speech and allows you to build 5 Splash Speaker pages. The cost is $17.97 monthly.
Platinum membership allows full activation of all Splash Speaker features and the creation of up to 10 Splash Speaker pages. The cost is $24.97 monthly.

Is Splash Speaker safe?
Splash Speaker is perfectly safe for use. Data used by Splash Speaker is not collected for use by us or the advertisers and merely reflects information already collected on the advertiser's database.

How does Splash Speaker work?
Splash Speaker uses a basic PHP script to create individual splash pages. The personalization tags that allow a prospect's first and last name, email address, and the website they are using to be returned on splash pages is accomplished by a small script that interfaces Splash Speaker with each participating advertising site in the Splash Speaker network.
The text to speech is accomplished by an open source program that converts the text on each splash page into a .wav or .mp3 file.

How can Splash Speaker be used?
Splash Speaker can be used to advertise anything that can easily be communicated on one page, but it is most effective on membership websites in the Splash Speaker network.
Sites that can be included on the Splash Speaker network include traffic exchanges, credit-based safelists, PTR/PTC sites, and certain list-building sites. A good rule of thumb is that if members can view advertisements within a framed page on a site it can be included in the Splash Speaker network.
In that setting the full capabilities of the Splash Speaker personalization and text to speech can be used.

What happens if a Splash Speaker page is viewed on a site outside the Splash Speaker network or on it's own?
The Splash Speaker page will still show and if it uses text to speech it will still function. In this case the personalization tags will be replaced with generic tags that would make sense.
For example, the personalization tag that would show a person's first name would be replaced with "surfer". Or a tag that would show the advertised website would be replaced with "this website".
